The Moose that Brought the News
Originally used by Thomas Jefferson to show the Old World that the New World was not degenerate, he urges the puppies to find a “new moose” to show doubters of the Internet that it should be explored and should remain open and free.
Freddie
An “early adopter” puppy who is eager to explore and find the New Moose and, in the process, falls in love.
Frieda
An extremely friendly penguin who, by inspiring the “pupulace” to trust in the power of love, helps to secure the ultimate victory over fear of malice and the unknown.
The Puppies
Convinced by the Old Moose, they are eager to explore the internet.
The Wise Old Dogs
Ignorance about the Internet is a bliss they prefer. They try to warn the puppies, but since when have the youth listened to their parents?
Rooski Mafiooski
They offer “pretty good privacy” as an inducement to click on their malware.
Penguineers
Though dubious about Frieda’s trusting nature, they are eager to explore.
The Platform Pigs
F-A-T-! Piggies — They try to keep the pupulous on their “Safe Island,” so they can gorge on Big Data.
LOL Cats
They love to entertain, and are constantly tied to their Devices — but they are frustrated about never getting paid.
The Eaglebot
From up on high he keeps his watch, seemingly able to find anything (even a New Moose) and predict the future. A natural ally of the Platform Pigs.
Sammy the Seal
Jilted by Frieda, he takes revenge by summoning his buddies to try to bully the pupulous into staying on Safe Island.
Commons Sheep
They work together and share everything, producing amazing results.
